can you import just a still image to create a gif? and if so, how do you do that?

I only see an option to upload a video.. I thought you could upload a still image and create a gif?  How do you do  this.. are there training  step by step videos somewhere?

Thanks

Currently the still images feature was the reason for my purchase (video made it sound like it was available).....until notified of the gif creation with still images I do not have a reason or the available time to learn and use. Good product, but would be a great product if this feature was available.

Hi Melissa,

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I think it was the cinemagraph feature being thought to perform it as we use still images on it. But, a slideshow of still image is not available, however it's already in our to-do list of features.

Thank you.

Thank you John...I will be waiting!

Yes I agree, I thought when I bought this I could make a gif from still images !! seems a shame that we can't ! hopefully you will make this happen as I do still think that it is a great piece of software but it lacks this feature

Hi Stephen,

Yes for sure, we will find ways for this feature. ;)  Thanks for the suggestion, keep them coming.

Huh, this might be a big deal breaker for me.
It seems that since gifs are images, it would make sense to make the gifs easy to create from images...

If I'm doing a gif as a tutorial for example it makes much more sense for me to use images instead of screen cap.

Same if I want to combine frames from different video sources. Just grab each and bring them all into one gif.

I'm sure your awesome team will add this feature super quickly.

In the meantime, Valerie, you can use this: http://giphy.com/create/slideshow

Hi Anael,

Thanks for the feedback, we will be checking it. It's a great feature indeed.

Hi Valerie,

I think this is a slideshow-like feature. This is not possible yet in Gifzign. We still need to look into it to check if possible. We will make updates soon. I got this noted. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, keep them coming.
