youtube not working

Hi,

I tried several times to load a youtube movie into Gifzign. But it doesst seems to work. All I see is a clear screen, look at the picture.

What could it be? I tried also without any avirus and firewall, but that doesnt seems to help.

Hope you can help me fix it.

Its now a while ago and still having the problem. It seems that the problem not could be fixed?

I think it is not nice that after this time we hear nothing anymore about the problem?

So, can you let us know something about how we can go further without the problem? or when is will be solved?

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I tried to load a Youtube link on my end and I was able to load it well. However it would take some time before it loads, especially if the video is long. Can you test shorter videos?

Hi,

I did uninstalled Gifzign and installed the latest, just as before. But it does not seems to help.

If you look at the video, you can see what happens.

Maybe any suggestion?

Hi Ray, 

I'd like to know, did you entered a Youtube link or a video file downloaded from Youtube? Gifzign only reads MP4 videos.

Im having the same problem with youtube. Tried couple of time to remove & reinstall, turn off anti virus, turn off firewall, and yet the problem is still happend,. It work like charm if Im using Vimeo but no luck with youtube. Really tough day with gifzign. At first I had to wait for a few hours to get my account activated and now Im facing this kind of problem.........

 

Enter youtube URL -> click "BEAM ME!" -> after around 10 second, I've got this

 

Yep, same problem. Too bad. I think there a sort fault in the program? I hope they fix it (very) soon.

Can you please check your 'Documents' folder on your PC and if files 'textLayer.png, palette.png, tempVideo.mp4, or loadedVideo.mp4' exists please remove them. Then please try to load the video again.

I get exactly the same thing you see on this screenshot.

None of the named files are in my Documents folder

I am sorry to hear that. There's none for now, except that there will be a new version coming in today. That might fix the issue. I will get back to you guys.

Hi, Just installed the latest version (before I did uninstalled the 'old' 1.05) But still same problem. After loading any video from Youtube I get the screen I did send before.

The update makes it not better, dont know what was changed in the latest version.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Cannot load any videos - YT, Vimeo or from computer - short or long. I purchased this on the 21st and have not been able to use it at all. I read the following replies and tried everything to no avail. I'll wait another day or two but that is it.

Youtube is not working for me as well. I've uploaded a video into Gifzign and it was working but glitchy. Please inform me when there is an update because this software is not working. We are all having the same issues.

Downloaded 1.07 now I can finally make a gif BUT only if I use an mp4 from my computer. Still cannot use YouTube or Vimeo. PLUS after I make the gif I cannot use it. The masking lines stay on the gif unless I turn them off. When I turn them off, the masked portion is no longer masked and I once again have mp4(though I can change the length??

Just Purchased and can't seem to use the YouTube videos, getting same screen as above.

Are you able to see a loading screen when loading the Youtube URL? Have you tried disabling antivirus for a moment or whitelisting Gifzign in the Firewall list while loading the URL?

I've whitelisted and then turned antivirus off but still the same problem.

The loading screen shows for another 3-5seconds then goes through to where the video should be however there's video.

I've tried different videos from youtube, 30 seconds to 10 minutes, I've also waiting around half hour to see if anything loads??

Any suggestions?

I've seen there's an update but nothing happens when clicking on the arrow.

Do I have to download and reinstall from the dashboard?

Sorry but at the moment the notification for download does not link to the download page, we will correct this issue. Please go to your gifzign online dashboard and download the update from there.

Please be reminded that you will need to uninstall the previous version before installing the new one. Thank you.

Same issue, YouTube not working.

I uninstalled then downloaded and installed updated version.

Vimeo seems to be working fine but with youtube the loading wheel spins for around 5 seconds then it takes you in but no video there.

I tried version 1.08 same problems. I sent masking shot once here it is again.

I am sorry about the issue. The developers are still working on the Youtube issue. I am hopeful this can be fixed in the following updates. May I know if you're using a 32 bit device?

For the masking outline, turn off the masking outline before saving the GIF, this will remove the line. I have notified the developer about this and we will remove it on Save without turning off the mask.

I apologise it took too long for me to get back here.

After all the updates we released, we still haven't found the fix for the Youtube/Vimeo issue. With this we apologise for not meeting your expectations and the problems caused by it. We will not stop solving these issues. Some users are able to use the feature without problems while others can't use it at all.

For now we recommend you to try this workaround using third-party online tools. Once you got the video from Youtube/Vimeo you can then load it to Gifzign. Please check this tip: http://support.youzign.com/i2263-how-to-turn-youtube-vimeo-videos-to-mp4

Tried to get a refund before and Gloria said no wait, it will get fixed. Asked if they still honored the 60 day money back and she said absolutely. Still cannot get refund - cannot even get a reply and no it still does not work. Totally disgusted.
